Il quinto album in studio della band indie rock americana Vampire Weekend. Ezra Koenig ha iniziato a scrivere i testi di "Only God Was Above Us" tra il 2019 e il 2020, mentre le principali sessioni di registrazione si sono svolte negli anni successivi a Manhattan, Los Angeles, Londra e Tokyo. L'album è stato coprodotto da Koenig e dal collaboratore di lunga data della band Ariel Rechtshaid, con la produzione aggiuntiva del batterista della band, Chris Tomson. È stato mixato da Dave Fridmann e masterizzato da Emily Lazar.
